Today we feature Regina Turner, our Trade Compliance Director.

Early in her career, Regina came across an article about Bessie Coleman, the first African-American woman and the first Native American to hold a pilot license, as well as the first Black person to earn an international pilot’s license,

“After seeing that, I wanted to work for Airbus.” For Regina, #BlackHistoryMonth “means an opportunity to teach that Black History is American History.”

She states, “The women of ‘Hidden Figures’ are inspiring to me. As an African American Woman in 2022, we still experience discrimination. Their intelligence, beauty, and grace are inspiring.”
