Lukas Thackery, a student at West Virginia University, hopes to make meaningful contributions to the company’s toughest in-space challenges this summer.
“The highlight of my experience thus far has been working “hands-on” with the satellites that Airbus is developing.” Stated Lukas.
Lukas suggest incoming interns fully immerse themselves in the day-to-day operations at Airbus U.S.
“This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the complexities of satellites, and I suggest taking full advantage of this opportunity.”
Lukas is a dual major in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and aspires to lead satellite projects throughout his career. The projects he’s worked on in his internship experience align with his goals very well.
On choosing Airbus U.S. for his summer experience, Lukas stated the following:
“Airbus U.S. stood out to me because of the hands-on work that’s offered to interns. This is a unique experience to learn and grow, and it shouldn’t be passed up.”
