Jeffery Grow, a student at the University of Virginia, hopes to make meaningful contributions to the advanced satellite program that help the team and company achieve its goals.

The highlight of his internship thus far has been working on the satellite simulation.

“I have been creating telemetry panels that will be used by the team on both the simulation and the actual satellites.”

Jeffery wants incoming interns to know the importance of asking questions.

“You aren’t expected to know everything coming into an internship. Don’t be afraid of asking others about projects you are having trouble with. Internships are about learning, and this is one of the best ways to do that.”

Jeffery is a computer engineering major and plans to work on designing computer processors.

Jeffery shared what lead him to this summer opportunity.

“I chose Airbus U.S. because I was very interested in their satellite program and wanted to gain experience in the aerospace field since that is something that greatly interests me.”
