ARROW Portfolio
The ARROW satellite bus is Airbus’ answer to an innovative, responsive, versatile and affordable platform for high-performance space applications. The ARROW satellite platform can serve many missions, including high data-rate low latency communications, collection and tracking of radio frequency sensing data, Earth observation with a high revisit, machine to machine communications, internet of things research, as well as in-orbit technology demonstration missions.
Small Satellite Manufacturing
Located in Merritt Island, Exploration Park Florida, the Airbus U.S. facility has the most advanced satellite mass production capabilities in the world. It is capable of manufacturing two satellites per day at an affordable rate. The cost of a traditional single satellite, which are most often produced in 4 to 5 years, cost tens of millions more than an ARROW satellite. Over 400 satellites manufactured and delivered to date for the OneWeb constellation are on-orbit and operational.
