Meet Yuri Marsan, a Principal Systems Engineer from TESAT Government, a newly established organization within the Airbus U.S. family. Marsan said his favorite aspect of his job is that he loves to create.  “I am in a unique position that allows me to work with a phenomenal team of talented engineers on both high-level architectural solutions and gratifying discrete tasks that keep the tinkering aspects of my personality entertained, ” he explained. He enjoys deriving unique solutions backed by cutting edge technology.

One of Marsan’s standout projects is the establishment of TESAT Gov, which provides optical communication capabilities to U.S. national security customers. With a focus on providing solutions for low probability of detection and interception, the team’s technology holds significant promise for the future of space communications. Reflecting on his journey into engineering, Marsan attributes his career choice to his curiosity and problem-solving nature. “I have always been an advocate of dreaming big! I often tell myself that nothing is impossible, only improbable, and being an engineer allows me to change those odds,” he said.
