To celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, today we highlight Molly Townsend, who’s story is a blend of professional achievement and personal discovery.

Molly has spent over two decades in Communications. An alumna of Florida State University (BA) and the University of Central Florida (MA), Molly’s career has been marked by significant milestones, including her involvement in the Airbus OneWeb Satellites acquisition in January.

Molly’s love for writing has always been evident, but practicality guided her career choice—she wanted to write and still afford life’s comforts. Her journey in Communications has been richly rewarding, both professionally and personally.

As an adoptee, Molly took a genetic test to learn about her heritage and discovered she is 100% South Korean. This revelation has fueled her passion for exploring Asian traditions and cultures, which she actively shares and celebrates through various events and activities. Molly finds joy in the similarities across Asian cultures and is particularly enthusiastic about AAPI accomplishments. She admits that her attendance at cultural events is often driven by the delightful food.
