Lakota Unit Flight Safety Award

The Airbus Helicopters Lakota Unit Flight Safety Award is given to units that fly the UH-72A or UH-72B. The award is based on the number of hours flown without incident. A unit that qualifies will be given an award certificate for the first 1,000 hours flown safely, and a trophy for each additional 1,000 hours flown safely. Pilots, Crew Chiefs, Medics, Fire Fighters, and Maintainers are all eligible for the award.
