Outside Director

Lt. Gen. (retired) Thomas Todd is an Airbus U.S. Outside Director and member of the Government Security Committee.

Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Todd is the owner of Noble Tech Strategies. He is retired from the U.S. Army; his last assignment was as Deputy Commanding General for Acquisition and Systems, Army Futures Command. In this assignment, Lt. Gen. Todd was AFC’s Chief Innovation Officer and led technology integration and capabilities development in the Army’s research laboratories and centers.

A career Army Aviator, Lt. Gen. Todd’s 34-year Army career combined aviation roles with leadership positions in acquisition, modernization, and research and development.

A 1989 graduate of The Citadel, he is a Citadel Distinguished Alumni, an honor graduate of the Army’s Initial Entry Rotary Wing training and a graduate of the Kiowa and Black Hawk Maintenance Test Pilot courses. He holds Masters of Science degrees in Contract Management and Strategic Studies from the Florida Institute of Technology and the U.S. Air War College, respectively.
