Meet Alexandra Balueva, a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Airbus U.S., who is currently working on satellite programs.  She enjoys solving complex problems and learning new things, stating “seeing the end products of months and years of our work and a happy customer are an added bonus.”

When asked why she became an engineer, Balueva mentions she enjoyed math and physics in high school, as well as a fascination for airplanes. A quote from a college professor stands out in her memory, “because I am a stubborn person who is convinced that if they try hard enough, they can do it better.”
