What is WIN? What is its mission?
Women’s Interactive Network (WIN) is an Airbus ERG which provides a support system and resources for female identifying Airbus employees. WIN’s mission is to create opportunities for connection, professional and personal development, and community outreach among a female network.

 

What inspired you to start the WIN Chapter at Airbus US?
I had the pleasure of representing AUS at Women in Aviation International (WAI) 2023 Conference, where I met an incredible group of women active in the WIN Airbus ERG. I recognized the need for a dedicated space for our own employees at AUS, and saw this as a proactive step to bridge the gap. I believe in the importance of fostering an inclusive environment in a male-dominated industry.

 

What has been your favorite memory with WIN?
At our last monthly gathering, a few of us shared raw, personal experiences surrounding the topic of “Being Assertive as a Woman at Work”. It was refreshing to hear different perspectives, experiences, and tools women have picked up along their careers to help navigate this. I look forward to our next discussion provoking topic for this month’s meeting.

 

What do you hope to accomplish with WIN?
I envision creating a supportive community where women can connect, share experiences, and empower each other. By providing resources for personal and professional growth, I hope to contribute to a more inclusive workplace where all employees can thrive.
