Happy #AAPI Heritage Month! Today we highlight Tony (Duy) Vu, a Vietnamese American, who believes that cultural heritage not only makes each person unique, but also brings people closer, and provides a sense of belonging.

For Tony, AAPI Heritage Month is more than a commemorative period; it’s an opportunity to honor the diverse contributions of AAPI communities and promote understanding and appreciation across cultural lines.

Growing up in the DMV, Tony had the privilege of interacting with people from around the world, which enriched his understanding of community and belonging. And while attending George Mason University, Tony joined an Asian interest fraternity during his college years that was dedicated to recognizing the contributions and raising awareness of AAPI communities across campus.

Here at Airbus U.S., Tony serves as the Tradeshow and Events Coordinator, where he combines his passion for organization and bringing people together. This is his first job after graduating from college in 2023, and lives his heritage day-in and day-out.
