Happy #EngineersWeek! Today we highlight our C212 Avionics Engineer, Darshan Raj, who is currently leading the team through the development phase of our C212 Avionics Aircraft refurbishment program.  Darshan has been with Airbus for three years and is also the project lead for the FAA STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) process, which requires interfacing with multiple disciplines and requirements of the FAA to complete this major achievement for our company.

Darshan became an engineer because he always enjoyed pulling things apart and figuring out how things worked. At a young age, he was always very intrigued with aviation.

Darshan says that the favorite part about his job is “The exposure to multiple different avionics systems and the opportunity to learn the integration and functional testing aspects of the systems. I also enjoy working together with our team to solve the challenging tasks.” Darshan is currently working on an avionics upgrade for a few different programs, “the extent of what I’ve been tasked with has been challenging, but it has also been a great learning opportunity to grow in this field. I have enjoyed particularly troubleshooting system issues during our design/installation.”
