Meet Stamatios Choremis, the Senior Manager of Business Processes and Analytics, based in Merritt Island, Fla. Stamatios is responsible for leading our Business Processes, Master Data, and Business Intelligence functions.

Stamatios’ career has been guided by his passion for using data and smart processes to solve complex problems and make organizations function better.

“I’ve been drawn to roles that blend strategy and technology,” he said. “Manufacturing and aerospace gave me that platform.”

Stamatios joined Airbus in 2019 at what was then Airbus OneWeb Satellites and continued with Airbus U.S. Space & Defense following the merger. Prior to that, he worked in planning and supply chain roles, gradually moving into leadership by delivering business-critical projects and building resilient teams.

In his current role, Stamatios works to ensure operational excellence by designing and optimizing systems and processes, delivering reliable data, and leading strategic transformation initiatives. He manages cross-functional teams that design, deploy, and govern the systems and processes that power the business.

“I believe what sets me apart in my role is my ability to blend technical expertise with leadership,” he said. “I can find problems and create scalable, sustainable solutions that benefit the whole organization,” he said.

Among his proudest accomplishments at Airbus U.S. Space & Defense is his work on the OneWeb satellite constellation.

“What made the project so meaningful wasn’t just the scale or technical complexity, it was the mission,” he said. “Our satellites brought high-speed internet to remote schools, isolated communities, and regions long left behind by traditional infrastructure. It was deeply fulfilling.”

Stamatios feels lucky to work for a company with a heavy mission-driven culture and collaborative spirit.

“We’re solving some of the world’s most complex challenges through innovation, teamwork, and integrity,” he said. “From building satellites that connect the world to helping launch new subsidiaries, every day is a chance to make a meaningful impact.”

Outside of work, Stamatios enjoys watersports and has sailed extensively in Europe and in the U.S.
