Meet Beth Miller, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Process Manager supporting the Merritt Island, Fla facility. She ensures material master and data integrity for the FAL Operations team, which is key to maintaining accuracy and efficiency across operations.

Beth has been with Airbus U.S. Space & Defense for six years. Prior to joining the company, she supported production and Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) systems at the Department of Defense, working at both Red River Army Depot and Tobyhanna Army Depot.

Beth’s interest in planning and tracking inventory led her to the ERP field.

“I’ve always found satisfaction in inventory and planning work,” she said. “And it’s something every manufacturer needs.”

What Beth enjoys most about working in the space and defense industry is the fast pace of innovation.

“The challenges that come with ever-changing technology make this work so engaging,” she said. “There’s never a dull moment.”

Throughout her career, Beth has come to value the power of process.

“I believe it isn’t the mountains ahead that wear you down– it’s the pebbles in your shoes,” she said. “You must ensure processes are in place to support the people doing the work.”

Beth encourages those new to the ERP field to understand the big picture of every process.

“Take the time to learn the entire process from beginning to end– not just one piece of the puzzle,” she said. “Everything you touch in a process impacts someone else.”

Outside of work, Beth enjoys gardening and sewing. Her perfect weekend includes spending time with her family and friends.
