Gabrielle DeAbreu, this summer’s Business Operations intern, hopes to make significant impact to process and standardization efforts and succeed in rolling out the Salesforce mobile app and achieving goals for Configuration Management.

When asked the highlight of her experience thus far, she details her experience as part of the Space Standardization Workshop.

“During this workshop I got to know those who work at Airbus U.S. and learn about their day-to-day work. They included me in in their planning of process improvement and development goals, which was super beneficial experience for me.”

Gabrielle wants to encourage incoming interns to step out of their comfort zone.

“Look for opportunities in areas that you haven’t been exposed to yet because this can lead to awesome knowledge that you may not have gotten otherwise!” Gabrielle is studying Business Information Technology with a concentration in Operations and Supply Chain Management. “In my career, I hope to advance in the field of Operations, Process Improvement, and even Business Analytics. One day I hope to be a leader in these fields.”

Gabrielle shared why she chose Airbus U.S. for my summer experience, sharing that the company culture was a key differentiator in the interview process.

“I sensed an opportunity for learning, growth, and hands on experience, which have all proven true. Those were the top things I was looking for during my internship experience. I wanted to have an experience where I could really grow as a professional and make meaningful connections with those I work with!”
