UH-72A

The UH-72A Lakota offers U.S. Army pilots a state-of-the-art cockpit featuring the VEMD (Vehicle and Engine Multifunction Display) and NVG-compatible glass cockpit. This advanced technology enhances situational awareness and reduces crew workload by seamlessly integrating flight and vehicle information.

Safety is a top priority in the Lakota, with redundant hydraulic, electrical, and engine control systems, along with a crashworthy airframe and energy-attenuating seats. These features, combined with its exceptional flight characteristics, provide a high level of survivability.

Powered by reliable Arriel turboshafts, the Lakota's hingeless rotor system and advanced composite rotor blades deliver exceptional performance. This design minimizes vibration and noise while enhancing aerodynamic efficiency.

The Lakota's unobstructed main cabin is easily reconfigurable to meet a variety of mission requirements. Sliding side and rear clamshell doors optimize access and space utilization, allowing for rapid troop deployment and significant mission growth potential. The Lakota can carry up to nine troops and is equipped for MEDEVAC missions with the ability to accommodate two stretchers.
