LEO Constellations
Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) constellations are changing the future of space exploration by opening up a wide range of new opportunities for businesses and governments. These constellations work together with existing large space systems to enable new missions. Airbus U.S. is committed to providing affordable, powerful, smart, and modular constellation spacecraft to facilitate access to space.

ARROW 450
The ARROW satellite bus is Airbus’ innovative, responsive, versatile, and affordable platform designed for high-performance space applications. Its design-for-manufacturing approach, derived from the OneWeb commercial satellite constellation, allows ARROW to be produced cost-effectively in an assembly line process, making it particularly attractive for both commercial and government customers, especially for the proliferated LEO constellations envisioned by the U.S. government. ARROW is a commoditized space vehicle that can support a wide range of missions, including high data-rate low latency communications, collection and tracking of radio frequency sensing data, Earth observation with a high revisit, machine to machine communications, internet of things research, and in-orbit technology demonstration missions.

ARROW 150
The ARROW 150 is a satellite bus optimized for high-volume production and is designed for proliferated national security Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellations. It has a payload mass of 100 kg, a payload volume of 1 cubic meter, and provides an average of 250 W of power. The satellite bus features a simplified avionics architecture, precise pointing control, and is flight-proven with 618 satellites already on orbit. Its low recurring cost is achieved through an integrated supply chain, industrial processes, and the use of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment.
